This program is focused around using the game of Minecraft to support students practice collaborating with others, take on different perspectives and ideas, use flexible thinking and continue to develop their negotiation skills. It is a great opportunity for kids to work as part of a team, use their problem-solving skills while getting the chance to be creative in the world of Minecraft. The aim of the program is for children to develop and practice their social communication in a supported group environment, and most importantly, to have FUN!
When: Tuesday 28th, Wednesday 29th & Thursday 30th of June for 1.5 hours per day
Time: 11.30am – 1.00pm
Where: Via ZOOM (req 2 devices, one to access ZOOM and one to access Minecraft Realm)
Age: 9-13 year old
Capacity: 5 participants
All participants (or parent) are required to attend a 15 minute ZOOM meeting with the therapist to ensure that we will meet your goals within the program.

This program is suitable for students that have access to 2 devices (eg, Ipad and laptop.) This is so they are able to connect to the ZOOM link and access the Minecraft Realm on another.
